English is the working language at most international companies, so Danish is not required for the roles listed here.
As a non-EU citizen you'll need a work and residence permit before starting. The usual route is a job offer first: your employer then sponsors the permit through the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI). Most Indian professionals qualify via the Pay Limit Scheme (salary above ~DKK 465,000/year) or the Positive List, which includes many IT and engineering professions.
