Senior Support Engineer (Marine Industry, Noerresundby)

Job summary

This role involves providing internal support to alignment engineers and engaging in mechanical calculations and simulations within the maritime industry. The position requires a balance of office work and field activities, with significant travel expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Relevant practical experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and CAD.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Flexible and persistent approach to tasks in a collaborative environment.
• Commercial awareness and business understanding.

Responsibilities

• Support alignment engineers internally.
• Perform calculations and create drawings.
• Conduct mechanical calculations and simulations.
• Provide on-site assistance for special measurements.
• Develop and produce Shaft Line Monitoring Systems.
• Analyze data and prepare reports.
• Offer technical support and troubleshoot in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Expect approximately 120 days of travel annually, both domestically and internationally.
