Director of Corporate Actions (Remote)

Job summary

The Director of Global Corporate Actions will oversee the Corporate Actions function across U.S. and international markets, ensuring accurate and timely processing of mandatory and voluntary events. This role involves establishing supervisory frameworks, managing incidents, and driving automation to enhance scalability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Actions within a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custodian, bank, or similar financial institution.
• Previous leadership experience in managing a Corporate Actions or securities operations function.
• In-depth knowledge of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions, including dividends, reorganizations, and security lifecycle events.
• Strong understanding of U.S. market infrastructure and international Corporate Actions processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate Actions organization, ensuring compliance with supervisory controls and timely processing of events.
• Develop and implement a global operating model for Corporate Actions across various markets and custodians.
• Manage incidents related to Corporate Actions, from containment to remediation and improvement.
• Collaborate with various teams to strengthen controls and eliminate recurring issues.
