Director, Traded Goods

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the global Traded Goods portfolio within a MedTech environment, focusing on building a commercially successful product line that aligns with the broader Diagnostics offering.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
• Experience in international B2B organizations within MedTech, healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Background in product management, category management, portfolio management, sourcing, or commercial development.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in driving growth and profitability.
• Familiarity with quality, regulatory, or compliance processes.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to operate in a global context.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the traded goods strategy, portfolio roadmap, and annual operating plans with specific growth and profitability targets.
• Develop business cases for portfolio investments and expansion opportunities.
• Lead global go-to-market execution and ensure readiness for product launches and lifecycle changes.
• Conduct business performance reviews and initiate growth strategies, including portfolio expansion and market opportunities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across a complex organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify and cultivate strategic supplier and partner relationships in collaboration with Supply Chain and QA/RA.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements to support global product availability.
