Tax Assistant

Job summary

The role involves supporting Global Mobility and Tax compliance activities, focusing on administrative and data-driven tasks related to personal income tax and cross-border employment. The Tax Assistant will work closely with the Tax Manager and various stakeholders to ensure accurate employee tax reporting and compliance for an international workforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and coordination of employee tax reporting and shadow payroll activities
• Collect, validate, and maintain compensation data for cross-border and multi-country employment
• Support stakeholders with administrative aspects of employment and wage tax processes
• Address basic personal income tax inquiries from employees
• Coordinate with payroll teams, finance, and external providers for timely data exchange
• Monitor and document end-of-year tax settlements and distribution of tax certificates
• Track tax obligations through data collection
• Prepare documentation for tax reporting, audits, and internal reviews
• Maintain records and supporting documentation related to personnel tax compliance
• Assist in preparing guidance materials and internal communications on personal income tax matters

Education

• Relevant qualifications in tax, finance, or a related field are preferred but not explicitly stated.
