Job summary

The Financial Controller will oversee the comprehensive financial management of solar park and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to tax regulations. This role is pivotal in enhancing the organization's financial performance through the preparation of monthly reports, budget development, and involvement in portfolio divestment processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant economic education such as HD2/HD(R), Financial Controller, Cand.merc.aud, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial controlling or auditing, with a solid grasp of full financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage accuracy, deadlines, and commercial priorities.
• Adaptability to new challenges while handling significant responsibilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, including reconciled profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Develop annual budgets and provide quarterly forecast updates.
• Review tax calculations from local administrators to ensure compliance with filing requirements.
• Monitor and manage regulatory compliance, including VAT, annual reports, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with auditors, administrators, and internal teams to support financial operations.
• Assist in financial controlling and payment approvals related to solar park divestments.

Skills

• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with Business Central and Power BI is advantageous.
• Auditing experience, particularly in renewable energy or construction sectors, is a plus.

Education

• Relevant degree in economics or finance.
