Safety Program Coordinator (EHS, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves leading and enhancing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a proactive safety culture across operations. The coordinator will work closely with leadership and external partners to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in EHS, ideally within an IT or Data Centre setting.
• In-depth understanding of European EHS regulations and experience with relevant authorities.
• Preferred: Professional EHS certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH (certificate or diploma level).

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide EHS programs, audits, and risk assessments for compliance and improvement.
• Coach employees at all levels to foster proactive safety ownership.
• Manage environmental and safety compliance across various operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, RAMS, and job hazard analyses for critical tasks.
• Develop and maintain the safety management program across multiple sites.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans (CAPA) for incidents and near misses.
• Act as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and authorities.
• Chair internal Safety Committees and engage with client Safety Committees.
• Collaborate with leaders and operators to integrate safety into daily operations.
