Job summary

The role of Business Physical Security Officer (BPSO) involves enhancing physical and personnel security within the Business Area Wind. The BPSO will collaborate with various stakeholders to embed security practices into daily operations and long-term strategies, ensuring preparedness against security threats and disruptive events.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in security, particularly in physical security, personnel security, or risk management.
• Background in critical infrastructure, energy, public sector, consultancy, operations, or security functions.
• Familiarity with security and resilience standards and frameworks.
• Understanding of operational areas within wind energy, solar, and battery sectors.
• Strong problem-solving skills in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• High integrity and professional discretion in sensitive situations.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance physical and personnel security capabilities in line with organizational standards and regulations.
• Advise business units on security risks and protective measures for assets and operations.
• Conduct site security assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal security requirements and external regulations.
• Maintain awareness of the security threat landscape and contribute to security intelligence.
• Support incident management and security reporting.
• Develop and deliver security awareness initiatives and training.
• Create security plans for high-profile events and provide travel security guidance.
• Build and maintain a security network with internal and external stakeholders.
