Job summary

An experienced Electrical Supervisor is needed for a construction project in Fredericia. The role involves overseeing and coordinating electrical and instrumentation activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

  • Relevant electrical qualification (electrician, electrical technician, electrical engineer, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in supervising electrical installations on construction or industrial projects.
  • Practical knowledge of low voltage installations, electrical testing, energization, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Experience with quality assurance inspections, walk downs, punch lists, and system handover.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Structured and safety-conscious work approach.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Experience with distributed control systems (DCS) and building management systems (BMS) installations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical and instrumentation installation activities on-site.
  • Coordinate daily work of electrical contractors and subcontractors.
  • Participate in project coordination and progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor installation progress, identifying delays and technical constraints.
  • Support contract management processes, including evaluations and change orders.
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with the client’s commissioning team.
  • Inspect installations and testing of various electrical panels and equipment.
  • Ensure timely provision of drawings and project deliverables.
  • Review schedules and report issues to project leads.
  • Coordinate safe execution of energization and LOTO activities.
  • Conduct quality assurance walk downs and identify issues.
  • Support punch-list close-out before and after mechanical completion.
  • Ensure compliance with project health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Maintain progress records and communicate status to stakeholders.
