Job summary

The Business Development Manager is tasked with expanding business operations in the Baltic region, focusing on the Defence and Security sectors. This role involves managing customer relationships and developing strategic partnerships to align customer needs with business offerings.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of international experience in a similar role within the defence or security industry.
  • Experience with public procurement entities in the defence sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Baltic defence market.
  • Fluent in English (C2 level) and either Estonian or Lithuanian (B1 level).
  • EU citizenship required; preference for Estonian or Lithuanian nationality.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
  • Promote Defence & Security products and solutions while communicating the company's vision.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the customer landscape.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Define and monitor account objectives and performance targets.
  • Prepare and execute Capture Plans.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders.

Skills

  • Results-oriented and self-driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven track record in building partnerships and leading cross-functional teams.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business development or related fields.

Tools

  • Familiarity with business development software and CRM tools.
