VP Head of Operational Finance (Offshore Wind Industry)

Job summary

The role involves leading the Operational Finance organization within the offshore wind sector, focusing on enhancing finance operations and driving meaningful change. The position requires strong leadership to develop finance teams and ensure reliable financial delivery while optimizing processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, particularly IFRS, and experience in a robust internal control environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Fusion, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Significant experience in senior finance roles within complex international organizations, preferably in a listed company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Operations function, ensuring effective team collaboration and ownership.
• Oversee month-end close processes, including accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance with external audit requirements.
• Drive finance transformation and systems optimization, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with various teams to align finance processes with business activities.

Skills

• Strong operational discipline and effective communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams through significant change and transformation.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and external consultants.

Education

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
