VP / Head of FP&A (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves leading the FP&A function to enhance decision-making through financial and operational insights. The VP / Head of FP&A will work closely with the CFO and executive leadership to ensure the organization has the necessary financial frameworks and metrics to operate effectively as an AI-driven business.

Qualifications

• Extensive FP&A experience in a SaaS or recurring revenue environment.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, economics, and operating models.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across various functions.
• Hands-on ownership combined with a strategic mindset, capable of engaging with detailed models and data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial framework, ensuring alignment in planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Lead the planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Continuously improve the SaaS KPI framework to provide actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with leaders in Sales, Customer Success, and Product to connect financial performance with operational drivers.
• Utilize AI to enhance forecasting, scenario modeling, and decision support, while automating repetitive tasks.

Skills

• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI applications in finance.

Education

• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.

Tools

• Experience with financial reporting tools and SaaS metrics analysis.
