VP / Head of Finance (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves leading the Finance function to create a modern, technology-driven finance platform that enhances scalability and efficiency. The position requires defining the global finance operating model and ensuring excellence in financial control across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting and IFRS expertise
• Experience with group structures and consolidation
• Experience designing finance systems or ERP/data structures
• Proven track record of improving finance processes and operating models
• Practical understanding of AI and automation in Finance
• Ability to connect accounting, data, and technology for effective financial management

Responsibilities

• Own and define the global finance operating model, including processes, systems, and data structures
• Design and maintain the Chart of Accounts and accounting structures
• Establish scalable, standardized processes across record-to-report, consolidation, and disclosure
• Drive financial control excellence by owning accounting policies and core internal control processes
• Define and govern accounting principles applied by external partners
• Design and manage the operating model for outsourced entity accounting
• Ensure external partners deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
• Drive an AI-enabled finance setup to automate processes and improve data quality

Education

• Background from a Big Four firm, a listed company, a scale-up, or professional services is preferred, with a focus on evolving and professionalizing finance functions.

Tools

• Familiarity with AI and automation tools in finance is beneficial.
