VP Category & Sourcing (Beauty, On-site)

Job summary

This role is a senior commercial leadership position focused on Makeup & Fragrance across the Nordic markets of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The VP will be responsible for driving the commercial agenda, optimizing performance, and leading a team of over 15 employees, including five direct reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role within consumer business, preferably in beauty.
• Track record of managing large P&Ls with ambitious growth targets.
• Expertise in category management, sourcing, and commercial optimization.
• Strong experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the Nordic commercial agenda for Makeup & Fragrance.
• Identify opportunities to optimize categories and improve ways of working across markets.
• Lead strategic negotiations with international suppliers and build strong relationships with brand partners.
• Strengthen processes and governance to enhance consistency and effectiveness.
• Drive process optimization and automation, leveraging AI to streamline workflows.
• Collaborate with various markets and functions as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team.
