VAT Student Worker (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This position involves supporting the VAT team within Group Tax, focusing on VAT compliance, reporting, and operational support. The role offers exposure to various aspects of tax processes and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant university degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Business Administration, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Interest in tax, VAT, and financial processes (prior knowledge is a plus, not a requirement)
• Comfortable working with Excel and handling data
• Good communication skills in English (Danish is an advantage but not required)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, and statistical reports
• Support financial administration tasks, including reconciliations and payment postings
• Manage incoming mail and coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders
• Respond to data requests and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes
• Contribute to audit preparations and process improvement initiatives
