TMS Application & Configuration Manager

Job summary

This role involves driving the implementation and long-term success of a Transportation Management System (TMS) platform across multiple business units. The TMS Application & Configuration Manager will be responsible for configuring, establishing, and rolling out the CarLo platform, ensuring it meets both local and group-wide operational needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CarLo/Soloplan or another TMS, including configuration and implementation.
• Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Experience in implementing and improving TMS across various business units or countries.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and rollout of CarLo, including fit-gap analysis, solution design, and go-live activities.
• Configure and maintain CarLo, managing workflows, business rules, and user roles.
• Translate logistics requirements into scalable solutions while balancing local and group standards.
• Manage application changes and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Act as a functional expert for CarLo, driving continuous improvements.

Skills

• Analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with integrations, EDI/API interfaces, SQL, and master data management.

Education

• Relevant experience in transportation management systems and logistics processes is essential.
