Network Operations Engineer

Job summary

The role involves managing and modernizing the global network infrastructure for a business operating 24/7. You will work with a team on various IT Infrastructure projects, focusing on Cisco technologies, firewalls, and network security solutions. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure role
• Deep knowledge of the Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• IT-related education (IT Technician/Engineer) or a Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework, preferably certified in ITIL V4 Foundation
• Experience with ITSM systems
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Valid references to attest to skills and personality

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT Infrastructure projects and manage the global network
• Create and maintain network documentation
• Coordinate troubleshooting and support activities with network support vendors
• Handle daily Service Requests through the IT Service Management tool
• Engage in ongoing projects such as Cisco cloud managed transition, network integration, and Zero Trust Network implementation
