Product Applications Specialist (Life Sciences, Hybrid)

Job summary

This role involves engaging with customers to understand their scientific and automation needs, crafting tailored automation solutions, and supporting the sales process in the life sciences sector. The position requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration between various teams and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree (MSc or PhD) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Laboratory Automation, Synthetic Biology, NGS, CRISPR, Molecular Diagnostics, Cell Culture, Bio-banking, or Antibody/T-Cell Screening.
• Hands-on experience with integrated automated systems is essential.
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and sales teams to identify scientific applications and automation requirements.
• Develop accurate automation solutions using collaborative robotic systems and relevant software.
• Conduct efficiency analyses and demonstrate scheduling software to clients.
• Assist in creating quotations and proposals to meet customer expectations.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and global sales channels.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sale to post-sale processes.
