Qualifications

  • Proven success in leading commercial teams within the medical technology sector, particularly in laboratory diagnostics.
  • Experience in developing account-level strategies and executing plans effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills with a history of serving accounts successfully.
  • Ability to collaborate within a matrixed organization and utilize available resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of product lines, market dynamics, and competitors.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical diagnostic sales or related fields.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
  • Candidates must reside in the designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass sales goals for the assigned territory.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer accounts, addressing all needs and inquiries.
  • Take ownership of product lines and understand competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including specialists and executives, to drive sales.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities from both competitive and existing customers.
  • Conduct business reviews to assess market conditions and adjust account plans accordingly.
  • Maintain and expand capital equipment and diagnostic reagent sales across product lines.
  • Increase revenue from existing customers through competitive conversions and new opportunities.
  • Keep internal sales and analytics tools updated accurately.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analytics tools is essential.
