Job summary

The role involves managing sales processes from pre-qualification to contract signature in the offshore wind industry, focusing on foundation projects. The Tender Manager will serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality tender materials and effective negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or commercial disciplines.
  • At least five years of experience in a commercially related role within the offshore wind, oil, and gas sectors.
  • Familiarity with foundations T&I projects.
  • Experience in contract negotiations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft IT packages, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client interface and oversee foundation T&I tender preparation.
  • Align various packages with the overall tender strategy and identify necessary deliverables and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate proposal delivery, including pricing, program details, and qualifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers globally.
  • Evaluate bids from suppliers in collaboration with technical sales engineers to select optimal partners.

  • Analytical mindset with a blend of commercial and basic technical understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

Education

  • Relevant degree in Engineering or commercial fields.
