Technical Sales Manager (Renewable Energy, Nordics)

Job summary

The role involves being a pivotal member of a technical sales team focused on the distribution of residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) products in the Nordic region. The position emphasizes pre-sales technical support and customer engagement to enhance the sales process and ensure effective installation of solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering
• Strong technical sales background with knowledge of PV systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and grid connection principles
• Fluent in English (C1) and one Nordic language
• Based in Sweden or Denmark

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to distributors, installers, and partners
• Conduct technical consultations for system design, product selection, and troubleshooting
• Assist sales teams in customer meetings with technical insights
• Prepare and review technical proposals and documentation
• Lead training sessions, workshops, and certification programs
• Act as a technical expert for installation and commissioning best practices
• Spend time in the field to support installations and resolve technical issues
• Gather feedback from partners and relay insights to internal teams
• Stay informed on grid requirements, regulations, and competitor technologies

• Hands-on, field-oriented approach with commercial awareness
• Experience working with installers and distributors is preferred
