Student Worker (Payroll & Accounting, Copenhagen)

Job summary

A proactive and dependable Student Worker is needed to support the Finance team in payroll and accounting functions. This role involves working closely with the Payroll Manager to maintain payroll and bookkeeping for over 400 employees across multiple European locations.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Accounting, Finance, or HR.
• Highly reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Motivated and efficient in solving challenges against deadlines.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and validation of monthly payroll changes, including salary adjustments and bonuses.
• Prepare payroll journals for accounting and assist with reconciliations and monthly financial reporting.
• Support innovation through AI/automation and participate in ad hoc projects.
• Compile documentation for audits and compliance checks.
• Handle administrative tasks and data validation.
• Act as an operational backup for payroll processing during team absences.
