Job summary

This part-time position is designed for final-year Master's students in Finance, offering a unique opportunity to engage as a Student Finance Business Partner within the Ocean Finance team. The role involves collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and gaining practical experience in finance's impact on business decisions in a global context.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Finance or Accounting at a Danish university.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Available to work 15-20 hours per week on-site in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recurring financial reporting and transform data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Analyze business challenges, identify root causes, and provide recommendations based on financial insights.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across finance and business, supporting ad hoc analyses and acting as a trusted partner.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, particularly with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, demonstrating curiosity and ambition.
  • Accountability and reliability in managing responsibilities.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting (in progress).

Tools

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI is advantageous.
