Student Assistant - Sustainability Strategy

Job summary

This part-time position offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability strategy and reporting within a global company. The role is based at the company's headquarters and involves supporting the Sustainability Strategy & Reporting team in various tasks related to sustainability communication and project management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant university program (e.g., business administration, economics, sustainability, political science, communication) with at least two years of studies completed.
• Strong interest in sustainability and understanding of environmental, social, and governance topics.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in conducting desk research and synthesizing information.
• Structured, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Initiative-driven and enjoys teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing slide decks and website content for internal and external communications.
• Review submissions for the sustainability engagement map.
• Cross-check draft reports for consistency across external reporting products.
• Manage the team's shared inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Conduct light research on sustainability trends and regulations.
• Support larger projects and ad hoc tasks in collaboration with project managers.
