Student Assistant in Biotechnology R&D (Part-time, On-site)

Job summary

This position offers university students an opportunity to gain practical experience in a biotechnology R&D laboratory, focusing on microbial production strains for enzyme manufacturing. The role involves supporting daily lab operations in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a university student in biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related field, ideally in the 3rd to 5th semester.
• Reliable and responsible in task execution.
• Enjoy teamwork and coordinating tasks with peers.
• Comfortable following instructions in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Restocking laboratory supplies.
• Preparing basic laboratory stock solutions.
• Cleaning laboratory equipment, including laminar flow benches.
• Assisting with various tasks to support the team as needed.

Skills

• Previous experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Interest in biotechnology, fermentation, or enzyme production.
• Preference for practical, hands-on work that contributes to lab efficiency.

Education

Working Conditions

• Enrollment in a relevant university program is required.
• Approximately 8 hours per week, preferably on weekdays between 08:00–16:00.
• On-site work in an R&D laboratory environment, involving light physical tasks such as cleaning and handling lab materials.
