Student Assistant - Financial Analyst (Energy Transition, Copenhagen)

Job summary

A student assistant position is available to support financial controlling and performance management processes within the Energy Transition Business Finance team. This role is integral to advancing the organization's 2040 net zero strategy, providing hands-on experience in financial analysis within an energy trading context.

Qualifications

• Currently in the last year of a Bachelor's program or starting a Master's program in Finance, Business, or a related field by September 2026.
• Strong interest in sustainability and global trade.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Effective communication skills in English; Danish is not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct performance analysis and prepare reports for management review.
• Execute financial controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Develop and implement financial process improvements and automation initiatives.

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively using PowerPoint.
• Strong prioritization skills in complex and ambiguous situations.

Education

• Enrollment in higher education at a Danish university is mandatory.
