Job summary

This role involves contributing to project-based AI opportunities by designing computational statistics problems and creating Python programming challenges. Contributors will work on tasks that simulate real mathematical research workflows and require advanced reasoning in various mathematical areas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Statistics or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; experience with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar libraries is acceptable.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and experience in international or applied projects are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Project time expectations

Tasks are estimated to require approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases of the project, based on specific requirements.

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $50 per hour, depending on their expertise and contribution pace. Compensation may vary across different projects based on their scope and complexity.

• Design original computational statistics problems that reflect real mathematical research workflows.
• Create Python-based problems that require computational solutions, ensuring they are intensive and cannot be solved manually in a short time.
• Develop problems that involve complex reasoning in areas such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
• Base problems on actual research challenges or practical applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard mathematical libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
