Job summary

This role involves leading technical content and managing cost drivers, risks, and opportunities in tenders within the offshore wind sector. The position focuses on ensuring sustainable energy solutions through advanced engineering tasks and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering roles within the Wind or Offshore sector, with a strong background in technical sales and tender processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or similar drafting software.
  • Familiarity with Piling Hammers specifications and installation methods.
  • Experience with Geotechnical studies and data analysis.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and conduct advanced engineering tasks for tender submissions, including vessel positioning analyses and stability assessments.
  • Develop and review technical scopes for subcontractor RFPs, ensuring thorough evaluation of proposals.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation for tender submissions, including method statements and engineering reports.
  • Perform waiting-on-weather simulations and integrate findings into project schedules.
  • Prepare competitive cost estimates for technical solutions and coordinate with subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in tender submissions.
  • Analyze client documentation to extract critical information for technical preparation.
