Senior Production IT Engineer (On-site, Denmark)

Job summary

This role involves designing and building the IT infrastructure that supports the reliable and secure operation of renewable energy assets, focusing on Operational Technology (OT) environments. The Senior Production IT Engineer will be part of a team responsible for creating scalable and maintainable Production IT solutions across various projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure for industrial or distributed environments.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure or platform solutions.
• Background as a System Administrator or infrastructure engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize Production IT architecture for OT environments, including compute and monitoring interfaces.
• Build and implement reusable infrastructure patterns for deployment across assets.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and Security teams to design monitoring and access integration concepts.
• Contribute to technology selection and platform design decisions.
• Ensure smooth transition of solutions from project delivery to operations.
• Document architecture and implementation patterns for global reuse.
• Act as a technical liaison between various teams including EPC OT and IT Operations.

Skills

• Experience with on-premises or hybrid environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure design, identity integration, and monitoring concepts.
• Familiarity with operational constraints in OT environments and security principles in industrial systems.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT infrastructure or engineering.

Tools

• Experience with IT solutions supporting OT or industrial environments, particularly in energy or utilities.
