Senior OT Network / SCADA Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves working within the Production IT team to design, implement, and operate OT network infrastructure that supports SCADA, PPC, and industrial control systems across renewable energy assets. The position is based in Copenhagen and focuses on ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in on-premises or hybrid environments, including compute and OS-level infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design, system architecture, and integration concepts.
• Experience in distributed or multi-site environments, with a focus on project delivery and operational handover.
• Familiarity with IT solutions in OT or industrial environments, particularly in energy or utilities.
• Knowledge of operational constraints and security principles in industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and standardize OT network architectures for renewable energy assets, including defining requirements and reviewing designs.
• Develop scalable Production IT services to ensure consistent infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure reliable communication between SCADA systems, PPCs, PLCs, RTUs, and field devices through effective network design and support.
• Facilitate the secure transition of OT infrastructure from project delivery to operations, participating in relevant validation activities.
• Implement and maintain OT cybersecurity controls, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, acting as a technical authority for OT networking.
