Senior Manager, Global Demand Planning

Job summary

The Senior Manager, Global Demand Planning is responsible for leading the transformation and governance of global demand planning processes, ensuring forecast excellence across all business units. This role focuses on enhancing forecast accuracy and performance management through advanced analytics and statistical methodologies.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in global demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP/IBP facilitation.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, and analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical forecasting methodologies and machine learning applications.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of the global demand planning process and promote data-driven forecasting principles.
• Own the global statistical forecasting framework and develop machine learning and AI-enabled forecasting capabilities.
• Ensure the quality and performance of the global statistical baseline forecast.
• Establish governance for model performance monitoring and forecast enrichment evaluation.
• Facilitate demand reviews and present insights to senior leadership as part of the S&OP/IBP process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.
