Job summary

This role focuses on driving growth in Customer Data and Master Data Management (MDM) within the EMEA region, serving as a strategic overlay sales specialist. The position requires deep domain expertise and involves collaborating with regional sales teams to close high-value deals.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrated success in selling Customer Data Solutions in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of Customer Experience, data platforms, and enterprise data architectures.
  • Experience in overlay or specialist sales roles within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as German, Spanish, or French are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an EMEA-wide overlay sales specialist for Customer Data and MDM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional Account Executives and Account Managers on strategic enterprise opportunities, maintaining a dedicated overlay quota.
  • Utilize existing industry relationships and networks in sectors like Retail, Manufacturing, and Banking to drive sales.
  • Lead discussions with C-level executives, translating business challenges into actionable value propositions.
  • Develop and refine the solution positioning and business case for the Customer Experience Data Cloud.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across various countries.
  • Provide strategic guidance and best practices to regional sales teams.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Partners, and Legal teams.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales enablement materials and resources.
  • Represent the organization in executive briefings and industry events.

Skills

  • Strong consultative selling skills in complex enterprise settings.
  • Ability to build trust and influence in large organizations without formal authority.
  • Excellent commercial judgment and ability to challenge customer assumptions.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools is beneficial.
