Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, On-site)

Job summary

This role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for various projects within the energy sector, focusing on sustainable solutions. You will work with a team of experts in high, medium, and low voltage systems to design and optimize electrical systems for a range of applications.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (elinstallatør), Marine Engineer (Maskinmester), B.Sc./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or a similar qualification.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, particularly in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering scope in large multidisciplinary projects and smaller specialized projects from early development to construction.
• Design, develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
