Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves joining a fully remote team focused on enhancing the infrastructure for a cloud platform aimed at developers. The position emphasizes collaboration, user empathy, and innovative problem-solving in infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in similar roles, particularly with large-scale production systems.
• Mastery of AWS and familiarity with other cloud providers.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting tools and processes.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Understanding of network protocols, load balancing, caching, and DNS management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a world-class team to enhance the developer experience.
• Engage in ambitious projects related to the cloud platform.
• Research and implement optimal solutions for infrastructure challenges.
• Participate in pair programming and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
