Job summary

This role involves overseeing the pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and close-out phases of a data center project, focusing on electrical systems and engineering. The position requires a strong presence on-site to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction project management, particularly on construction sites.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical pre-construction activities, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with budget and schedule.
• Supervise electrical system installations, including substations and transformers.
• Ensure alignment of electrical designs with overall project intent and client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with building codes and safety protocols.
• Manage and supervise electrical subcontractors and vendors on-site.
• Oversee the commissioning process of electrical systems and ensure accurate documentation.
• Act as the primary contact for electrical-related issues between the client and construction team.
• Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, addressing any cost overruns or delays.
