Job summary

The role involves managing and implementing Environmental and Energy Management Systems (EEMS) within a technical environment, ensuring compliance with regulations and ISO standards. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance sustainability practices across data center operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Geology, Biology, Meteorology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of program management experience in environmental or energy management systems within the tech sector in Europe.
• Experience with the implementation of ISO standards in an organization.

Responsibilities

Preferred qualifications

• Establish and maintain a compliant Environmental & Energy Management System (EEMS) aligned with regulations and ISO standards across all operating models.
• Support external certification audits and ensure compliance with operational EEMS, overseeing regulatory submissions and monitoring EMEA sustainability regulations.
• Identify and evaluate environmental and energy risks in data centers, designing mitigation programs and investigating incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Lead continual improvement initiatives using benchmarking, process excellence tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with global strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to develop communication and training aimed at enhancing energy awareness and program success.
• Master's degree in relevant fields.
• Experience in environmental incident management, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of mission-critical operations regarding environmental and energy management.
• Solid understanding of EMEA environmental/energy regulations and ISO standards requirements.
