Job summary

The role of Global Project Planning Manager involves establishing and maintaining project scheduling standards across a global organization. This position focuses on enhancing planning capabilities, supporting teams in delivering complex projects on time, and driving continuous improvement in project scheduling practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in project scheduling, with proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Extensive knowledge of international project execution and scheduling practices, preferably in power generation, hydro, infrastructure, or large-scale plant construction.
• Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring project planning teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven capability to influence and align teams across regions without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize global project planning methods and tools.
• Support regional teams in creating realistic and high-quality baseline schedules.
• Review project schedules for feasibility and quality.
• Conduct planning quality assessments and regional project reviews.
• Train and support regional project schedulers on best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in scheduling.
• Communicate complex planning information to stakeholders clearly.
