Job summary

This role involves shaping research strategy by transforming external data in obesity and metabolic health into actionable insights. Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant life sciences or quantitative discipline.
• 10–15+ years of experience in biopharma, particularly in R&D strategy and competitive intelligence.
• Deep understanding of obesity and metabolic disease biology and therapeutic landscapes.
• Familiarity with multiple modalities such as peptides, antibodies, and oligonucleotides.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and synthesize competitive intelligence related to metabolic health, including competitor publications and patent literature.
• Analyze breaking external data to develop insights and implications for research strategy.
• Utilize quantitative methods to analyze complex datasets and create actionable recommendations.
• Develop high-impact communications for senior executives, including briefings and presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to align on strategic questions and decisions.
• Create repeatable competitive intelligence products to support leadership decision-making.
