Senior Data Scientist

Job summary

The role involves joining an AI team to develop and productionize GenAI-powered products and pipelines that support critical business decisions. A focus will be on customer-facing conversational AI and AI-driven processing systems. The position requires strong ownership of complex projects and collaboration with the AI team to drive solutions from ideation to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering production AI or ML systems.
• Hands-on experience with customer-facing GenAI applications and pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLMs from various providers and understanding of their strengths and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade GenAI applications using Python, MLflow, Databricks, and AI platforms.
• Develop AI-powered solutions, including conversational AI and multimodal processing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code with automated tests and monitoring.
• Build and maintain data and AI workflows in Databricks.
• Leverage cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) for deploying AI services.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data foundations for AI products.
• Drive projects from proof of concept to production deployment and optimization.
• Mentor team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Skills

• Proficient in Python, PySpark, Pandas, and SQL.
• Experience with libraries such as Transformers and SDKs from leading LLM providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Education

• Relevant degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
