Senior Data Portfolio Analyst (Fintech)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing data quality and governance within the Markets Data Office of a fintech organization. The Senior Data Portfolio Analyst will lead initiatives to translate governance standards into actionable practices while collaborating across various domain areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and prioritization of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and Critical Data Attributes (CDAs).
• Define data quality requirements, thresholds, and tolerances, translating them into actionable controls and monitoring.
• Investigate and remediate complex data issues across systems and stakeholder groups.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders on prioritization, control design, and governance adoption.
• Ensure clarity and transparency in documentation, control evidence, and governance artifacts.
• Shape the operating model of the Markets Data Office by establishing repeatable processes.

Skills

• Technical skills in SQL and Python; familiarity with Databricks, Great Expectation, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong ability to translate complex data issues into clear insights and actions.

Education

• Relevant degree in a related field is preferred, though specific educational requirements are not detailed.
