Senior Data Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves contributing to the development of a new data platform, focusing on building data pipelines and tooling to support quantitative analysts. The position is based in Copenhagen and is not remote.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering with Python.
• Proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the data platform by integrating new data sources and transformations based on business needs.
• Continuously improve the platform by adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• Create internal tools to facilitate the migration to the new data platform.
• Support the transition of the existing platform to a Lakehouse architecture.

Skills

• Familiarity with containerized applications and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for building DAGs.
• Understanding of AWS or other public cloud services.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Experience working in end-to-end delivery teams.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
