The role involves driving commercial success in the offshore wind sector, focusing on strategies from tender winning to contract handover while fostering strategic client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; maritime or engineering qualification preferred. Legal qualification is a plus.
  • Over 10 years of relevant industry experience in commercial roles, particularly in offshore wind or oil and gas sales.
  • Familiarity with BIMCO Supply Time and FIDIC-type contracts.
  • Knowledge of foundations T&I projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in an international business context.
  • Proficient in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and tailor bid strategies in collaboration with the tender team.
  • Assist the tender manager with pricing and commercial terms during bid preparation.
  • Optimize contract clauses to align with tender interests.
  • Manage contract risks and work with legal and contract management teams.
  • Lead negotiations with support from the tender team and contract manager until contracts are finalized.
  • Support the Head of Sales or CSO in managing global client relationships.
  • Collaborate with procurement on key subcontract selections and negotiations.
  • Develop commercial strategies and tools to enhance contract value and efficiency.
