Senior Accountant (Hybrid, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves managing comprehensive accounting functions for multiple clinics in Denmark and Norway, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. The position plays a critical part in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes within a dynamic international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a Shared Service Centre or large organization.
• Proven expertise in managing general ledger activities and leading month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations (Blackline) and supporting statutory financial statements and tax reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Oracle ERP is a plus.
• Fluent in English, with strong Danish skills; knowledge of Norwegian is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting activities for clinics across Denmark and Norway.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Banking, and Finance Business Controlling.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to local clinic teams, enhancing financial understanding and decision-making.
• Conduct VAT reporting for Denmark and Norway.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the Finance Shared Service Centre.
