Security Specialist

Job summary

The Security Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing physical security governance and resilience. Reporting to the Physical Security Manager, this position involves coordinating governance, compliance, and operational resilience efforts within Physical Security, while engaging with various internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Familiarity with NIS2 legislation and the CER directive (Critical Entities Resilience).
• Experience in developing emergency response plans.
• Understanding of governance structures and processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across different functional areas and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, quality-assure, and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with NIS2 legislation throughout the organization.
• Assist in implementing the CER directive to enhance the resilience of critical entities.
• Create and maintain emergency response plans.
• Strengthen governance structures and processes within physical security.
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders on related matters.

Education

• Relevant educational background in security management, compliance, or related fields is preferred.
