Security Architect

Job summary

The role involves shaping the future of security architecture by ensuring the secure implementation of AI and emerging technologies. The Security Architect will work within the Security Engineering team, focusing on Security Architecture, Application Security, and the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

Qualifications

• Experience in security architecture, application security, or related fields.
• Familiarity with AI Security, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Supply Chain Security is advantageous.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as SABSA, NIST, or ISO 27001 is relevant.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Curiosity and motivation to understand new technologies and complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Advise on secure AI and emerging technologies through advisory work and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with business units, development teams, and architects to translate security requirements into practical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of security principles, architecture guidance, and frameworks in various areas including AI and cloud security.
