SAP Controlling (CO) Functional Consultant

Job summary

This role involves working within a Nordic SAP Finance practice to implement S/4HANA transformation programs for various large clients. The consultant will design and implement management accounting solutions, collaborating with finance teams to meet reporting needs and guiding the process through various phases including build and testing.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, industrial engineering, or IT
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration, including at least one full implementation lifecycle
• Strong knowledge of CO sub-modules and management accounting principles
• Experience with SAP FI and CO–FI integration in New GL and Universal Journal

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement workshops with finance stakeholders
• Design and configure SAP CO across multiple sub-modules
• Maintain cost accounting master data concepts
• Support cost model design and overhead allocation
• Manage CO integration points with other SAP modules
• Prepare and execute various testing phases
• Lead a CO workstream team, ensuring quality and development of junior consultants
• Provide advice on process improvements and reporting

Skills

• Ability to write functional specifications and communicate effectively with both finance and technical teams
• Professional fluency in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is advantageous
