Job summary

The Sales Team Leader for heavy industries will spearhead the commercial strategy across the Nordic markets, focusing on leading sales engineers and driving revenue growth through business development and key account management. This role emphasizes motivational leadership and alignment with core company values, while also managing sales KPIs and ensuring effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent technical experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong commercial background with extensive knowledge of operational sales, account management, and business development.
  • Proven experience in building and leading a technical sales team, ideally in a regional capacity.
  • Technical sales experience in process equipment or fluid handling within heavy industry sectors is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial plans to enhance market share in the Nordic heavy industry sector.
  • Monitor and report on Sales KPIs, providing updates on performance regularly.
  • Generate sales forecasts and plans using Business Information tools to align with ROI goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing accounts.
  • Coach and support sales teams, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
  • Collaborate with EMEA Customer Support to ensure excellent customer experiences and project delivery.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, with potential travel to support regional activities.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and integrity within the team.

  • Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
