Job summary

The Sales Team Leader for heavy industries will spearhead the commercial strategy across the Nordic markets, focusing on leading sales engineers and driving revenue growth through business development and key account management. This role involves providing motivational leadership, monitoring sales KPIs, and ensuring alignment with commercial objectives while representing the company at various industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent technical experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong commercial background with expertise in operational sales, account management, and business development.
  • Proven experience in building and leading a technical sales team, preferably in a regional capacity.
  • Technical sales experience in process equipment or fluid handling, ideally within heavy industry sectors.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial plans to increase market share in the Nordic heavy industry sector.
  • Monitor and report on Sales KPIs, providing updates on performance regularly.
  • Generate sales forecasts and plans using Business Information tools.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing accounts.
  • Coach and support sales teams, conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
  • Collaborate with EMEA Customer Support to ensure seamless customer experiences and project delivery.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Uphold company values and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Business Information tools for sales forecasting and performance tracking.
