Job summary

The Sales Manager will oversee internal sales management and provide daily supervision of account executives within the sales team. This leadership role involves achieving sales targets, motivating the sales team, and collaborating with various departments to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a quantitative field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in software sales, including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a second EU language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets for new software and renewals.
  • Collaborate with executive management on strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and set performance goals for the sales team.
  • Supervise account executives and manage their daily activities.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts using Salesforce.
  • Plan and implement growth strategies for revenue and employee development.
  • Coordinate resources for selling and supporting products.
  • Negotiate contracts in collaboration with legal and business operations teams.
  • Assist sales representatives in achieving their goals through coaching and mentoring.
  • Conduct group sales meetings and oversee recruitment and training of staff.
  • Manage complex sales opportunities and collaborate with global teams.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of strategic sales techniques in the software industry.
  • Knowledge of corporate software acquisition cycles and various market segments.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
