About the role

Job summary

An experienced Sales Manager is needed to drive sales growth in selected European markets for a manufacturer in the construction equipment sector. This role requires a commercially driven professional with a strong network and proven success in field sales.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of successful field sales experience, including new business development and key account management.
  • Strong background in Aerial Work Platforms (AWP / MEWP) or related lifting/access equipment industries.
  • Proven sales track record with measurable commercial success.
  • Established network within construction, rental, or industrial equipment markets.
  • Fluent in English and one additional language (Swedish, Danish, or Finnish).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify, acquire, and manage key customers, including rental companies and contractors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with after-sales, service, and technical teams to provide excellent customer support.
  • Represent the business at trade fairs and customer meetings.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Travel regularly across the assigned territory to meet customers.
